The college wishes to employ two Technical Officers for the Animal Health and Welfare Wales –Gwaredu BVD Programme which has been funded by the Rural Development Programme (RDP). The overall aim of the project is to deliver an all Wales industry led BVD eradication programme. This will involve co-ordinating all the technical aspects of the programme including managing the supply of sample results from the labs, monitoring the levels of farmer participation with the programme and answering questions and queries from farmers regarding the programme in general or their specific results.
The Technical Officer will be a key member of the AHWW team. In addition to the roles outlined above duties will include supporting the project manager and technical expert with farmer facing meetings and events and the continued development of the programme.
